I’d love to get you booked in! Feel free to call me at 07791337971, drop me an email, or send over a message. We can find a time that works best for you, and I’ll just need a small deposit to secure your slot.

How far do you travel?

I'm based near Fort William and cover most places within the Highlands. Get in touch and we'll have a chat about your location, travel time and any additional costs.

What is the difference between your packages?

Choosing the right package for your property is simple and pricing is tiered based on the size of the property (number of bedrooms), ensuring you get the best value.

Core Property Packages

  • Croft Essentials: This is the perfect foundation for showcasing your property. It includes high-quality interior and exterior photography, premium digital editing, a full commercial license for your images, and delivery via a private digital gallery.
  • The Highland Showcase: Designed for maximum impact, this package includes everything found in "Croft Essentials," plus the addition of drone aerial photography and a bespoke social media video reel to help your listing stand out.

Standalone Aerial Packages

If you only require aerial services, I also offer dedicated options:

  • Aerial Photography: Focused specifically on providing high-resolution aerial imagery of your property.
  • Aerial Photography & Videography: A combined package that delivers both high-resolution aerial photos and professional aerial video footage.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash.

Preparing for Your Shoot

How do I prepare for my shoot?

Here's a few tips on getting the most out of your photoshoot - do get in touch if you have any questions or ideas you'd like to share:

Declutter: Clear countertops, remove fridge magnets, move bins out of sight, and hide trailing cables where possible.

Staging: Set the dining table, lay out crisp bedding, plump the cushions, and put fresh towels in the bathrooms.

Lighting: Ensure all lightbulbs work. Warm, ambient interior lighting looks incredibly cosy on camera against a dramatic Highland backdrop.

How long does a typical shoot take?

A standard property shoot takes between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the size of the house, the acreage, and whether you have added a social media reel or aerial package. I take my time to make sure the composition and lighting are absolutely spot on - a bit of a perfectionist!

Do you shoot in bad weather? (The Highland Dilemma!)

I'm well used to the changing West Coast weather.

  • Interiors: Can be shot rain or shine. In fact, an overcast day often provides beautiful, soft window light without harsh shadows.
  • Exteriors: If it is a total washout, I'll keep a close eye on the forecast and use local flexibility to find a dry window for exterior and drone work, or reschedule if necessary. There's no need for wall-to-wall sunshine - dramatic moody clouds look fantastic on a stone cottage!

Post-Shoot & Delivery

When will I get my photos / video?

I’ll aim to deliver your media within 48 hours of your shoot.

How many photos will I receive?

For each room, I’ll aim for 2–3 photos, plus plenty of attention on the special details and views that make your place unique.

For smaller properties, you can expect a final delivery of 25-30 high-quality images.

How do I receive my images/video?

Once your photos and videos are ready, I'll upload them to your private online gallery. You will be able to download your files quickly and easily to add them to your listings, and you can also share the gallery with others.

Aerial & Drone Photography

Are you legally licensed to fly a drone for commercial property work?

Yes, absolutely. I'm fully registered with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), hold a valid Operator ID and Flyer ID, and carry standard commercial drone public liability insurance.

What happens if it is too windy or rainy to fly the drone?

Drone safety is paramount. If the wind is blowing a gale or the rain is heavy, it isn’t safe to fly. If I can't get the drone up during your main shoot, I'll monitor the weather and discuss rescheduling.

Our backup plan depends on your location:

  • Within 30 miles of Roshven: I'll head back out on the next clear day to finish the exterior work at no extra cost.
  • Beyond 30 miles: We will postpone the entire shoot to the next mutually available date, completely free of charge.

I never charge rescheduling or cancellation fees for poor weather delays. Your property deserves to look its best, and I'll wait for the right weather to make that happen.

Are there any airspace restrictions around my property?

Most rural areas are fine, but certain areas near regional airports etc have strict flight restriction zones. I check the airspace maps during your booking process. If your property falls inside a restricted zone, I'll be in touch to discuss.

Social Media & Reels

What are "Reels" and why do I need them?

Reels are short-form, vertical videos (9:16 format) tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Guests use social media as a search engine to plan trips. High-quality video captures the feeling of a stay like the crackle of the wood-stove, pouring a morning coffee, or walking down to the nearby loch - in a way static photos can't.

How do you deliver the videos, and can I add my own music?

I deliver the reels as fully edited, high-definition files ready for you to upload. To avoid copyright issues, I use legally licensed audio tracks that suit the vibe of your property. If you prefer to use trending audio directly on Instagram or TikTok, I can deliver the footage cleanly edited so you can upload to your social platform.
